FALCON POWERS – The reactions to the assassination of Hamas political bureau chief Ismail Haniyeh in an attack in the Iranian capital Tehran continue. Haniyeh was killed in a building 150 meters away from the residence of the Iranian President Raisi, which caused an uproar in the world.
Hamas confirmed that the head of the Hamas Political Bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, was killed in Tehran as a result of a Zionist attack. Both Hamas and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard stated that Israel is behind the attack.
How was the assassination carried out?
The official Iranian news agency IRNA announced that the attack occurred around 2:00 am local time. They claimed that Haniyeh’s residence was targeted by a guided missile. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard stated that an investigation into the incident has begun and the results will be shared upon completion of the process.
Haniyeh’s phone and his companion
The Iranian political analyst “Abbas Khamehyar”, who is close to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, revealed a new account related to the assassination of the Hamas leader.
Khamehyar, the former cultural advisor to the Iranian embassy in Lebanon and an expert on regional issues, said during a program on the Iranian “Ofog” channel, that “the assassination operation was carried out through a non-Iranian telephone line used by ‘Waseem Abu Shaban’, the personal bodyguard of Ismail Haniyeh.”
He added that “Haniyeh was using an international telephone line (granted to him by an official Qatari entity), which is a ‘Thuraya’ type that operates via satellites, and its location was determined using advanced technology, which is not a difficult matter.”
The claim of the specific point
The building in which Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh was killed is being hidden as a mirage. The images circulating on social media seem to refute the “guided missile” claims. In the satellite imagery that appeared on July 25, there are no details of the “green tarpaulin” and “debris” in the building suspected to be the site of the assassination.
Therefore, the likelihood increases that the building in the image is the building where the assassination took place. The images highlight the details of the missile or short-range missile that was used in the assassination of Haniyeh.
The details of “150 meters” are extremely intriguing
According to satellite images, the building in which Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh was killed is located only 150 meters away from the residence of Iranian President Masoud Bazshkian, and Israeli sources claimed that one of Haniyeh’s guards provided information to the attackers, and according to the report, it is alleged that Haniyeh’s bedroom was attacked with an anti-tank missile or a guided missile.
