Rare Tornado Strikes Eastern Spain

FALCON POWERS – Eastern Spain witnessed a rare tornado that hit the municipality of El Toro, as shown in video footage captured during the event.

The tornado came in the wake of an intense heatwave in Valencia, accompanied by strong winds and heavy rainfall.

The local meteorological service stated that the tornado was of the type known as a “supercell”, which occurs under exceptional conditions as it requires a high level of moisture and two types of air currents – one cold and the other warm and humid.
