Bin Salman: The Kingdom Condemns Israeli Crimes and Will Not Establish Relations with Israel Before a Palestinian State

FALCON POWERS – Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman emphasized on Wednesday that his country will not establish diplomatic relations with Israel before the “establishment of a Palestinian state,” expressing the Kingdom’s condemnation of Israeli “crimes.”

During the opening of the first session of the ninth term of the Shura Council, Bin Salman stated, “The Palestinian issue is at the forefront of your concerns. We reaffirm the Kingdom’s strong rejection and condemnation of the crimes of the Israeli occupation authorities against the Palestinian people.” He added, “The Kingdom will not cease its diligent efforts towards the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, and we affirm that the Kingdom will not establish diplomatic relations with Israel without that.”

He further stated, “The Kingdom seeks to enhance regional and international security and peace to reach political solutions for the crises in Yemen, Sudan, and Libya.”

The Saudi Crown Prince noted, “The Palestinian issue is at the forefront of your concerns, and we renew the Kingdom’s strong rejection and condemnation of the crimes of the Israeli occupation authorities against the Palestinian people, disregarding international and humanitarian law in a new and bitter chapter of suffering. The Kingdom will not stop its diligent efforts towards the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, and we affirm that the Kingdom will not establish diplomatic relations with Israel without that. We thank the countries that recognized the Palestinian state, embodying international legitimacy, and urge other countries to take similar steps.”

Bin Salman mentioned that since the launch of Saudi Vision 2030, the citizen has been at its core and goal. He pointed out that any achievement realized under its comprehensive umbrella across various paths is an elevation for the nation, a benefit for the citizen, and a safeguard for future generations against fluctuations and changes.

In his royal address on behalf of King Salman bin Abdulaziz, he stated that the Public Investment Fund continues its role in achieving its goals to be a driving force for investment, noting that unemployment among citizens has reached its historically lowest level in the first quarter of 2024, at 7.6%, down from 12.8% in 2017.
