Qader-1 Missile Enters the Conflict Between Hezbollah and Israel

FALCON POWERS – The Qader-1 missile is considered an important element in Hezbollah’s arsenal, providing greater deterrence capability and making it a more serious threat to its enemies. Its emergence in the region could change the rules of engagement, complicating and intensifying conflicts.

Hezbollah announced that it targeted an Israeli Mossad headquarters in Tel Aviv using the Qader-1 ballistic missile.

The Qader-1 missile poses a direct threat to Israel, as it can be used to strike deep within Israeli territory.

A ballistic missile, also known as a trajectory or guided missile, follows a curved (or semi-orbital) path, influenced solely by gravity and air resistance. It has the capability to carry various types of warheads, including chemical (nuclear) and high-explosive warheads, making it a weapon that knows no borders.

Ballistic missiles are considered “strong” deterrents, characterized by their ability to reach long-range targets at any time, often at lower costs compared to aircraft for the same purpose.

Intercontinental missiles are referred to as “ballistic” from the English word “ballistic,” which is short for “the flight of an object through space under the force of gravity only,” meaning the movement of an object in space solely under the influence of gravity.
