FALCON POWERS – At least 40 Israelis were injured today, Sunday, when a truck collided with several pedestrians at a bus station near the Mossad headquarters in Tel Aviv, with investigations underway to determine if the incident had a nationalistic motive.
Hebrew sources reported that among the 50 injuries, at least 15 individuals sustained serious wounds.
The Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth stated that several of the injured are trapped under the truck and are in critical condition.
It was added that soldiers at the scene opened fire on the driver, believing it to be a terrorist attack.
The Israeli army radio reported that a large number of the injured were soldiers on their way to their military bases.
An Israeli police spokesperson stated that the incident is being treated as an attack.
