FALCON POWERS – The Yemeni Houthi group announced on Thursday evening that it has targeted 202 ships connected to Israel, the United States, and the United Kingdom since November 2023.
This was stated by Houthi leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi during a speech broadcast by the group’s Al-Masirah TV channel.
Al-Houthi noted that “the operations of the Yemeni front in the seas to capture ships linked to the Israeli, American, and British enemies continue, despite the limited movement in the Red Sea.”
He added, “Among the notable maritime operations this week was the targeting of four ships (whose identities were not specified) east of Socotra Island.” He emphasized that “the total number of ships targeted that are linked to the Israeli, American, and British enemies has reached 202 since the start of operations supporting Gaza in November 2023, which is a significant achievement in every sense of the word.”
Al-Houthi mentioned that Washington is “extremely disturbed by our maritime operations as it has failed to secure maritime navigation for the Israeli enemy in the Red Sea.”
