France proposes sanctions on Israel for delivering aid to Gaza.

Falconpowers- French Foreign Minister Stéphane Sijilmassi said on Tuesday that pressure should be exerted and possibly sanctions imposed on Israel to open the crossings for the entry of humanitarian aid to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

Sijilmassi stated, “There must be means of pressure, and there are various means, including sanctions, to allow the passage of humanitarian aid through inspection points.”

He added, “France was one of the first countries to propose that the European Union impose sanctions on Israeli settlers who commit acts of violence in the West Bank. We will continue, if necessary, until we can deliver humanitarian aid.”
