“Axios”: Tehran Warns Washington Against Attacking Its Forces if Involved in Conflict with Israel

Falcon powers –  According to Axios, Tehran has reportedly conveyed a message to Washington through Arab countries, stating that if the United States intervenes in the conflict between Israel and Iran, Iranian forces in the region will be targeted.

Citing three U.S. sources, the publication reported that “Iran sent a message to the Biden administration through several Arab countries earlier this week, stating that if the United States gets involved in the fighting between Israel and Iran, American forces in the region will come under attack.”

Furthermore, White House spokesperson John Kirby announced on Friday that the United States has made changes to the deployment of its forces in the Middle East amid the threat of an Iranian strike on Israel.

Earlier on Friday, CBS News, citing U.S. officials, reported that Washington expects an Iranian attack against Israel on April 12.

The same sources explained that Iran could potentially use over 100 unmanned aerial vehicles and dozens of missiles against Israeli military targets.

Against the backdrop of the potential escalation, the United States has assured Israel of its support in confronting any threats emanating from Iran and its allies in the region.

Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, emphasized in a speech delivered earlier on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr that the attack on the Iranian consulate in the Syrian capital, Damascus, is considered an attack on Iranian soil, and he affirmed that Israel will be punished for this assault.
