FALCONPOWERS – President Joe Biden has confirmed that the U.S. military assisted Israel in shooting down all unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and missiles coming from Iran targeting Israel. He also mentioned that he will coordinate with the G7 group to deliver a unified diplomatic response to the Iranian attack. In a statement, Biden said, “Earlier today, Iran, and its proxies operating from Yemen, Syria, and Iraq, launched an unprecedented aerial attack against military facilities in Israel. I condemn these attacks in the strongest possible terms.” The statement further added, “Under my direction, and in support of Israel’s defense, the U.S. military has deployed aircraft and missile-defense destroyers to the region over the past week. Through this deployment and the exceptional skill of our soldiers, we assisted Israel in shooting down virtually all UAVs and incoming missiles.”
Biden emphasized in his statement that repelling the Iranian attacks sends a clear message that Iran cannot effectively threaten Israel’s security.
