Falconpowers – On Sunday morning, settlers embarked on a journey towards the city of Jerusalem, carrying “sacrificial animals” such as goats and lambs, in preparation for gathering them at the closest point to Al-Aqsa Mosque. Their intention is to slaughter these animals within its premises on the eve of the Jewish Passover.
In recent days, various groups associated with the alleged Temple Mount organizations submitted an official request to the Israeli police, seeking permission for settlers to enter Al-Aqsa Mosque and slaughter the sacrificial animals within its vicinity.
According to the beliefs of these Temple Mount groups, today and tomorrow are considered “days for sacrificing animals,” with tomorrow being specifically designated as the “firstborn” day.
The Temple Mount administration disseminated invitations through social media platforms and various websites, urging their supporters to gather at the Moroccan Gate at 10:30 PM on Monday, April 22, 2024, to demand permission to storm Al-Aqsa Mosque in the middle of the night and offer the Passover sacrifices inside the mosque.
Temple Mount groups and organizations called on settlers through their invitations titled “Urgent… Heading to Jerusalem” to bring their Passover sacrificial animals, particularly lambs, to Jerusalem’s Old City and prepare to enter Al-Aqsa Mosque after midnight.
These Temple Mount groups also offered monetary rewards ranging from 700 shekels to 50,000 shekels (Israeli currency) to settlers who attempt or successfully slaughter the sacrificial animals, depending on the location of the sacrifice.
