Day 200 of War: Disappearance of Two Thousand People and Predictions of Seven Hundred Buried in Mass Graves

FALCON POWERS – Residents of Khan Yunis city in southern Gaza woke up to news of the discovery of mass graves dug by Israeli forces after their incursion into the city several months ago, before retreating to its eastern outskirts. The inhabitants hurried to inspect the bodies as many of them had lost their children and did not know their fate. For the past two days, Palestinian Civil Defense teams and locals have been engaged in the retrieval of dozens, and possibly hundreds, of bodies.

The spokesperson for the Gaza Civil Defense announced the recovery of over 283 bodies of various age groups, including dozens from inside the Nasser Hospital, where they had been buried by Israeli forces. Approximately 500 people remain missing, with the spokesperson also confirming the disappearance of 2,000 Palestinians in what he described as the “Khan Yunis massacre.”
