Lebanon and Gaza War

Hebrew Radio: Erdogan Attempts to Market a New Security Plan Regarding Gaza!!

FALCON POWERS – Kan Radio, a Hebrew radio station, claimed on Wednesday morning that Turkey proposed a security settlement plan to some Arab countries during the first two months of the war in the Gaza Strip. The plan reportedly involved deploying joint forces in the region.

According to the Hebrew radio station, this proposal was made the day after the war ended.

Quoting an informed Arab diplomatic source, Turkey offered to present the plan to the United States and Israel, but the Arab countries, including Egypt, did not accept it.

The same source stated that Arab countries categorically rejected hearing about arrangements that included the deployment of forces on their behalf in Gaza. However, there have been recent developments after Arab countries, including Egypt, offered to deploy forces on their behalf in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank as part of a two-state solution.

According to the Hebrew radio station, the Arab diplomat stated that Turkey is trying in every way to influence what is happening in Gaza and position itself as a key player, especially in front of the Americans. Meanwhile, Egypt sees Turkey’s attempts as an effort to establish a foothold in the Palestinian arena.

The Arab diplomat added that Turkey seems to be trying to replace Qatar, as negotiations led by Doha have failed. For this reason, meetings between Turkish officials and Hamas leaders have been repeated in recent days.
