FALCON POWERS – Israeli Foreign Minister Katz said, “We will not accept peace in exchange for peace, and we will not return to October 6th. If Hezbollah does not withdraw, we are approaching a full-scale war. In this case, Israel will operate against Hezbollah throughout Lebanon and occupy a large area in southern Lebanon to establish a buffer zone controlled by the Israeli army, allowing the northern residents to return to their homes peacefully.”
Katz added, “The residents of the north will not return to their homes before Hezbollah withdraws. In the coming days, we will know if there is a hostage deal. What motivates [Hassan] Nasrallah is his desire to stop the international system, including the International Criminal Court in The Hague, from targeting Israel.”
