White House: Biden Orders Continued Cooperation with Israel to Defeat Hamas

FALCON POWERS – Reuters reported today, Friday, that US President Joe Biden has instructed his team to continue working with Israel to “permanently defeat” the Hamas movement.

The White House emphasized that the United States has not made a final decision regarding the shipment that was suspended from being sent to Israel.

They added, “We have presented Israel with some alternatives on how to pursue Hamas elements.”

On Wednesday, President Biden stated that the bombs supplied by the United States to Israel, which have now been halted, were used to kill Palestinian civilians. Biden explained in an interview with CNN when asked about the bombs, each weighing two thousand pounds (907 kilograms), that Washington was sending to Israel: “Civilians in Gaza were killed as a result of those bombs and other methods they use to target population centers.” The US president continued, saying, “If Israel enters Rafah, we will not supply them with historically used weapons to deal with this problem.”

He emphasized that “we will continue to ensure that Israel is secure regarding the Iron Dome and its ability to respond to attacks that have recently emerged from the Middle East.”

The United States suspended the shipment of weapons to Israel, which includes heavy bombs used in the campaign against Hamas fighters in Gaza, resulting in the deaths of more than 34,000 Palestinians so far.

The comment comes at a time when Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu continues a military offensive on the Palestinian city of Rafah despite objections from President Biden.
