ABC News: Sources Say Biden Administration Report Does Not Conclude Israel Violated International or U.S. Law in Gaza

FALCON POWERS – ABC News quoted sources saying that the report by the administration of President Joe Biden does not conclude that Israel violated international or U.S. law in Gaza.

The report examines Israel’s use of weapons supplied by the United States in the ongoing deadly war launched by Tel Aviv on Gaza.

Two sources familiar with the report told the American network that the report does not conclude that Israel violated international or U.S. law in Gaza.

The report has not been published yet, and it is expected that the U.S. administration will present the report to American lawmakers next Wednesday.

An official stated that despite these findings, the report still strongly criticizes some of the measures taken by Israel during its deadly war against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

On May 7th, Politico reported that the Biden administration had indefinitely postponed submitting its report to Congress. The report was prepared by the U.S. Department of State.

It is worth noting that the conclusion that Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza constitutes a violation of international and U.S. law could serve as a basis for suspending further U.S. arms sales to Israel.

The death toll from the Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip has risen to 34,904 people since the outbreak of the war on October 7th.

Former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Mark Milley, said, “Before we all disassociate ourselves from what Israel is doing, and I am horrified by the deaths of innocents in Gaza, we should not forget that it is the United States that killed many innocents in Mosul (Iraq) and Raqqa (Syria).”

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre stated that the United States has temporarily halted the shipment of only one batch of ammunition to Israel, and there will be no complete cessation of ammunition supplies.
