Sullivan in Israel to Present the Saudi-American Position to Stop the War in Gaza

FALCON POWERS – The American National Security Advisor, Jake Sullivan, is arriving in Israel today (Sunday) after a visit to Saudi Arabia where he met with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

The two sides discussed the ongoing efforts to strengthen an American-Saudi-Israeli agreement that includes normalization between Riyadh and Tel Aviv. In Israel, Sullivan will meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Minister Benny Gantz, and will present to them the Saudi and American position that includes a ceasefire in Gaza through a swap deal, and significant progress in the negotiations between Saudi Arabia and Israel.

The United States hopes that the prospect of normalizing relations will convince Israel to end the war, but it is aware of Netanyahu’s reliance on the far-right parties in the coalition.
