Gantz: Israel Will Continue Its War “Even in Rafah”

FALCON POWERS – Israeli war minister Benny Gantz said that Israel will continue its “just and necessary” war against Hamas.

In a statement after the International Court of Justice’s ruling ordering Israel to cease its offensive on Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, Gantz said: “The state of Israel embarked on a just and necessary war after a brutal terrorist organization butchered our citizens, raped our women, kidnapped our children and fired rockets at the centers of our cities.”

He continued: “The state of Israel is committed to continuing the fight to retrieve its hostages and ensure the security of its citizens, wherever and whenever necessary, including in Rafah.”

He added: “Israel will act in accordance with international law while ensuring the maximum possible protection for civilians.”
