Falcon powers – The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon – Hezbollah, carried out a series of operations against the Israeli occupation and its deployment along the Lebanese-Palestinian border.
In their latest operation, the Resistance announced that they shelled the settlement of “Kiryat Shmona” with dozens of “Katyusha” rockets and the “Falaq” rocket launcher.
In a statement, the Resistance confirmed that this targeting is in response to the Israeli occupation’s aggression, which targeted the Martyr Salah Ghandour Hospital in Bint Jbeil and hit civilians.
In this context, the Israeli media reported that a heavy barrage of rockets was launched towards the north, and that the alarm sirens were “sounding non-stop”.
It pointed to “damage to a building in Kiryat Shmona, where fires broke out near the houses”, while instructions were issued for settlers to remain in the fortified areas until further notice.
The Israeli media also mentioned that 15 firefighting teams were working to extinguish the fires in “Kiryat Shmona” and in the northern industrial area, in “Kfar Yuval”, “Beit Hillel”, “HaMalchia”, “Dishon Tsfat”, and “Meron”.
Before shelling “Kiryat Shmona”, the Resistance also responded to the targeting of the Martyr Salah Ghandour Hospital by shelling the settlements of “Meron”, “Safsufa”, and “Tsfat” with dozens of “Katyusha” rockets.
The Israeli media stated that the “crazy” rocket barrage launched from Lebanon towards Meron “included more than 50 rockets”, noting the request for settlers to “remain in the fortified areas until further notice”, while confirming the “power outage” in the area.
The Israeli media also confirmed the outbreak of a fire in the “Safsufa” area in the north, as a result of the rockets launched by the Resistance.
