FALCON POWERS – The estimates in “Israel” indicate that the United Nations will include “Israel” in its blacklist of countries that kill children, according to a journalistic report.
This comes as an investigation conducted by the British newspaper “The Guardian”, the website “Seha Mekomet” and the magazine “972+”, published today, Tuesday, confirmed that the Israeli intelligence agencies – the Military Intelligence Division, the Mossad, and the Shin Bet – have been spying for years on senior officials at the International Criminal Court in The Hague, and have collected information about them and their relations with Palestinians who provided the court with reports on human rights violations in the occupied Palestinian territories, and the Israeli intelligence also tried to put pressure on the employees to stop the investigations against Israel.
Israeli Channel 13 reported that “marathon discussions” took place in Israel in recent days, including Tuesday, regarding the decision that may be issued against Tel Aviv, noting that they come “in light of the events in Rafah in the last two days, and the decisions against Israel in the International Court of Justice in The Hague”.
The channel added that the estimates put forward in the discussions that took place at the headquarters of the Israeli National Security and the Army “is that this year, and for the first time, after many threats, and because of the war, the United Nations will actually declare that the Israeli army is an entity that harms and kills” children.
It indicated that the potential decision comes in the context of “a series of dramatic political decisions against Israel”, stressing that this has “practical consequences that may harm Israel’s arms supplies”.
The decision that may be taken will be in effect for four years.
The report indicated that officials in Israel “have already begun to formulate countermeasures against the United Nations, in preparation for the imminent announcement.”
The Commissioner-General of UNRWA, Philippe Lazzarini, wrote on the “X” platform: “Astonishing. The number of children documented as killed in Gaza in just four months exceeds the number of children killed over four years in all conflicts worldwide,” condemning what he called a “war on children”.
Earlier on Tuesday, Spain, Ireland and Norway officially recognized the State of Palestine today, Tuesday, a decision that angered the Israeli authorities. Madrid, Dublin and Oslo expressed their determination to give a “firm” response to “Israeli diplomatic attacks”; while the European Union held “important deliberations” on the possibility of imposing sanctions on Israel if it does not comply with the ruling of the International Court of Justice regarding the Rafah attack.
