FALCON POWERS – The American newspaper Washington Post reported that “senior U.S. congressional Democrats have approved a major arms deal for Israel that includes F-15 fighter jets.”
According to the newspaper, the deal includes 50 F-15 fighter jets worth more than $18 billion.
It stated that “this decision highlights the strong desire in Washington to continue the flow of weapons to Israel, despite concerns from some members of Congress about this matter.”
The newspaper pointed out that this deal is considered one of the largest U.S. arms sales to Israel since the beginning of the war on Gaza. Previously, the same newspaper quoted former U.S. officials confirming that U.S. arms sales to Israel violate legal boundaries.
According to the newspaper, many of Israel’s violations in the Gaza Strip were carried out using American-made weapons, including attacks on civilian neighborhoods, healthcare facilities, journalists, and aid workers.
