The Houthis: 10 US-British Airstrikes on Hodeidah within Hours

FALCON POWERS – The Yemeni Houthi group “Ansar Allah” announced that the United States and Britain targeted Hodeidah Governorate in western Yemen with 10 airstrikes within hours.

The Houthi-affiliated Al-Masirah satellite channel reported in a brief breaking news that the “US-British aggression targeted Hodeidah International Airport with a sixth airstrike.”

Earlier on Monday, the group announced that the airport was targeted with 5 US-British airstrikes, and 4 other strikes on Kamaran Island in the coastal governorate.

The US-led coalition forces targeted Kamaran Island for the first time since the start of the air raids on Houthi-affiliated targets in early February.

The group did not provide details about the results of these airstrikes. In contrast, the US military said it destroyed four Houthi radars, a boat, and two drones in the last 24 hours. The US Central Command stated that the radars and the boat were destroyed in areas controlled by the Houthis in Yemen.

It also mentioned that the drone was destroyed over the Red Sea.

Hodeidah, overlooking the Red Sea, is considered one of the most important Yemeni governorates, as it contains an international airport and three vital ports, in addition to a long coastal strip and several islands.

In “solidarity with Gaza” facing a devastating Israeli war with American support, the Houthis are targeting Israeli-linked cargo ships in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, and the Indian Ocean with missiles and drones.
