FALCON POWERS – The Yemeni Houthi group said on Tuesday that it carried out a joint operation with the “Iraqi Islamic Resistance” on a vital target in Haifa, Israel.
The Houthi military spokesman, Yahya Sarea, said in a statement broadcast on television that the Iran-aligned group carried out “with the help of God Almighty a joint military operation, in cooperation with the Iraqi Islamic Resistance, that targeted a vital target in Haifa with a number of cruise missiles, and the operation achieved its objectives successfully.” He was referring to an alliance that includes several Iraqi armed factions.
The Houthi group has been launching attacks with drones and missiles on shipping lanes since November, saying these attacks are in solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza.
These attacks have resulted in the sinking of two ships, the seizure of another, and the killing of at least three sailors.
