After the assassination of his three sons, Erdogan tells Haniyeh: Israel will be held accountable for its crimes in court.

Falconpowers – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in a conversation with the head of Hamas’ Political Bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, that Israel will definitely be held accountable for its crimes before the court.

According to a statement from the Turkish President’s office on Wednesday, it said, “President Erdogan said in a conversation with the head of Hamas’ Political Bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, that Israel will certainly be held accountable before the court for the crimes committed by Tel Aviv against humanity.” Erdogan expressed his condolences to Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas’ Political Bureau, on the deaths of six of his children and grandchildren in an Israeli airstrike on Gaza.

Earlier today, an RT correspondent reported that three of Haniyeh’s sons (Hazem, Amir, and Mohammed) and three of his grandchildren were killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting a car in the Shati refugee camp west of Gaza.

Haniyeh affirmed that the blood of his sons and grandchildren, who were killed in an Israeli airstrike on Gaza, represents “sacrifices on the path to liberating Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque.”

In response to the killing of his three sons and three grandchildren in the Israeli airstrikes, Haniyeh stated, “I thank God for this honor that He bestowed upon us with the martyrdom of my three sons and some of my grandchildren… With this pain and blood, we create hopes, future, and freedom for our people and our cause.”

Following the war launched by Israel on Gaza, the political rhetoric from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan escalated, as he directed sharp criticisms towards the Israeli government. Turkey also witnessed widespread demonstrations in various cities in support of Hamas and the steadfastness of the Gaza Strip.
