American media confirms, while Egypt denies: Reports of discussions between the Israeli and Egyptian sides regarding the invasion of Rafah!!

FALCON POWERS – Egyptian Intelligence Chief, Diaa Rashed, categorically denied the claims published in an American newspaper regarding alleged discussions between Egypt and Israel regarding Israel’s planned invasion of Rafah.

Rashed affirmed Egypt’s consistent and publicly declared position, which has been reiterated by the political leadership, of unequivocally rejecting such an invasion. He emphasized that such an invasion would result in massive human casualties, extensive destruction, and further exacerbate the suffering of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, who endured a bloody Israeli aggression for 200 days.

Furthermore, Rashed clarified that Egypt’s repeated warnings have reached the Israeli side through various channels since the idea of a military operation in Rafah was raised. These warnings specifically highlight the anticipated losses and the highly negative repercussions on the stability of the entire region.

Rashed stated, “While Israel contemplates this invasion, Egypt, along with all countries of the world and international organizations, stands firmly against it.” He highlighted that Egypt’s continuous efforts since the start of the Israeli aggression have been focused on achieving a ceasefire agreement, prisoner and detainee exchanges, ensuring sufficient humanitarian aid enters Gaza, particularly in its northern regions and the city of Gaza, and facilitating the transfer of more wounded and sick individuals for treatment outside the Gaza Strip, where almost all healthcare services have been depleted.

Earlier today, Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry called on Israel to refrain from taking any military actions in Rafah. His statement came in response to remarks regarding the invasion of Rafah in southern Gaza.

Shoukry emphasized the necessity of halting this war and working towards ending it, while establishing a framework that leads to resolving the conflict through the ongoing efforts made by countries to establish the Palestinian state. He stressed that this endeavor should be supported by all partners and the international community.
