Gaza war

“And the hidden is greater.. Haaretz: Did Israel use the American floating port to free the hostages?”

Falcon powers – The hidden remains the greatest in the case of the operation, which the Israeli media described as the liberation of the four hostages from the Nuseirat refugee camp in the Gaza Strip.

There are many issues that have raised several questions about what happened during the operation, before it, and perhaps after it. This operation was described by the Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant as heroic.

In this context, the Hebrew newspaper Haaretz reported this morning that senior officials in both Washington and Tel Aviv said that the United States and the United Kingdom provided Israel with very valuable information that contributed greatly to the success of the hostage release operation, in their words.

The same sources, according to the newspaper, stressed that the Americans and the British provided the occupying state with logistical assistance, the nature of which has not been disclosed.

Washington denied that it had used the floating port it had set up in Gaza during the Israeli operation, which took place on Saturday, and in which the occupation army, the Shin Bet security service, and the counter-terrorism unit known as Yamam participated, in which one of its senior commanders was killed during the hostage release.

In addition to the above, the Israeli and American sources told the Hebrew newspaper that an American unit, which has been present and active in Israel since the outbreak of the war on Gaza in October of last year, contributed greatly to the operation to release the four prisoners.

An Israeli official, described by the newspaper as high-level, confirmed that American and British units are working from within Israel to collect and prepare intelligence information, and have been doing so since last October to gather information about the Israeli hostages held by the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip.

An Israeli official himself explained to the Hebrew newspaper that the US Department of Defense (Pentagon) and the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) are collecting information on the location of Israeli prisoners, and in addition, these secret units are working to identify the locations of Hamas leaders and other Palestinian factions, according to his statements.

The same official revealed that US and British units are using drones and eavesdropping on phones and “intercepting” phone calls after monitoring them, adding that the United States and the United Kingdom have the capabilities to collect intelligence from the air, as well as through cyberspace, which the Zionist state does not possess, according to his statement.

However, the Israeli official pointed out that the US and British intelligence units did not participate in the operation that took place on Saturday.

In addition to the above, according to American officials, the newspaper added, the assistance provided by Washington and London to the entity in the issue of freeing hostages stems from their belief that the release of Israeli prisoners will convince the occupying state to end the war on Gaza, and that the finding and killing of Hamas leaders adds another factor to persuade Tel Aviv of the necessity to stop the war, which has been raging for more than 8 months, as it expressed.

Israel expressed its strong anger at the statement issued by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry regarding the massacre committed by the occupation in Al-Nusairat during the operation, and Channel 12 of Israeli television said that the Egyptian position is disgusting and confirms the depth of Egyptian hypocrisy, because it did not mention the release of the four hostages, as it expressed.
