Britain: Protesters Against Arms Sales to Israel Arrested in Front of Ministry of Defense

British police arrested 5 individuals on Wednesday for suspected involvement in criminal damage after they sprayed the Ministry of Defense headquarters in London with red paint in protest against Britain’s continued arms sales to Israel, according to the British newspaper The Independent.



Protesters against the Israeli war on Gaza sprayed the British Ministry of Defense building in London with red paint, demanding an end to British military cooperation with Israel. They also called on both the Conservative and Labour parties to impose a ban on arms exports to Israel.

The newspaper added that a video posted on (X) platform showed several protesters jumping over the outer fence of the Ministry of Defense building before spraying the walls of the building with red paint.
