FALCON POWERS – A British police officer is facing terrorism charges for expressing support for the Hamas movement through the WhatsApp application, as reported by the Police Conduct Watchdog on Wednesday.

The Independent Office for Police Conduct stated that the 26-year-old officer, Mohammed Adel, from West Yorkshire, shared images endorsing Hamas, an organization banned and classified as a terrorist group in the United Kingdom.

Adel is facing two charges related to disseminating an image in support of a proscribed organization, in violation of terrorism laws.

It is alleged that he shared the images on WhatsApp in October and November.
