FALCON POWERS – The singer Celine Dion revealed updates on her health condition, after a long period of struggling with the stiff person syndrome, a disease that has prevented her from singing and distanced her from the thing she has loved for many years.
Celine appeared in her first television interview after her illness on the “Today Show” program, and discussed the impact of her illness on her ability to sing. She started the interview by talking about the moment she discovered the disease in December 2022, and the decision to cancel all her shows. Celine Dion continued that the disease has caused her to distance herself from daily activities, such as walking and cooking, and has made it difficult for her to sing: “All I know is singing, this is what I’ve done all my life, and this is what I love doing the most.”
Celine said about the impact of the disease on singing: “It feels like someone is squeezing you… it feels like someone is pushing on your throat and your esophagus.”
Recently, the 66th Grammy Awards ceremony witnessed the appearance of the Canadian star Celine Dion, after months of absence, due to the deterioration of her health condition and her infection with a rare disease, which is the stiff person syndrome that affects the nerves.
