FALCON POWERS – Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin said on Thursday that the United States is providing unprecedented military assistance to Ukraine, while at the same time accusing China and Russia of engaging in normal trade and economic cooperation.
According to Wang, this is “a textbook example of the United States’ double standards and extremely irresponsible hypocrisy.” He stated that the U.S. is delivering massive military aid to Ukraine, while unjustly criticizing the normal commercial and economic cooperation between China and Russia.
Wang’s comments came as Russian President Vladimir Putin visited China. In an official statement published on the Kremlin’s website, Russia and China called for halting the deterioration of the conflict in Ukraine and stopping all steps that contribute to the prolongation of hostilities and the escalation of the conflict.
