FALCON POWERS – In a strange incident, an Egyptian man committed suicide inside an Italian prison, after being accused of sexually assaulting an elderly woman.
The 42-year-old Egyptian man, “A.F.”, committed suicide inside the “Torre del Gallo” prison south of Milan in Italy, after being imprisoned and accused of sexually assaulting and torturing an 89-year-old woman who suffers from cognitive impairment, for more than an hour, at the entrance of her home in Sesto San Giovanni.
The Italian security investigations had revealed that the suspect was summoned and arrested on charges of sexual assault and theft, in preparation for his trial at the Monza court on the charges against him. The biological samples at the crime scene matched the DNA of the Egyptian suspect. The Monza public prosecutor’s office requested an immediate verdict after the analysis results confirmed the Egyptian suspect’s involvement in the heinous crime.
The prosecution reports indicated that the incident began when the victim went to the pharmacy last September to buy some medicines. After making her purchases, she encountered the young Egyptian man, who offered to accompany her home. After dropping her off, the woman invited him in to host him and prepare a meal for him due to his chivalry, but she was surprised when he assaulted her sexually, beat her, and stole her money.
