FALCON POWERS – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has declared that Turkey has cut its trade relations with Israel and will continue to do so, possibly severing all remaining ties.
He emphasized that anyone who criticizes Israel is accused of being anti-Semitic, but Turkey will not succumb to such threats.
He stated, “We will continue to consider our brothers in the Hamas movement, who defend their land against the occupiers, as a national liberation movement.”
He added, “No one can expect us to remain silent in the face of the genocide being perpetrated against our Palestinian brothers, who have been resisting alone for 203 days.”
He said, “We must work to ensure that the tragedies of our brothers in Gaza are not ignored, and that Israel is held accountable under the law.”
He continued, “The US administration’s unconditional military and diplomatic support for Israel contributes to the worsening of the problem in the Gaza Strip rather than its resolution.”
He also highlighted that Turkey is the only country that has reintroduced trade restrictions on Israel, covering 54 products.
