FALCON POWERS – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced on Sunday that Kyiv has received the first of the long-awaited American-made “F16” Western fighter jets, but added that “their number is insufficient”.
During a ceremony held at a secret location where the planes were presented to the press, Zelenskyy said, “Now it is a reality in our skies, F16 fighter jets in Ukraine. We have made this happen.”
The Ukrainian president also noted on the same occasion that “the number of F16 fighters in Ukraine is not enough, and the country is awaiting additional deliveries of this type of military aircraft.”
