Early this morning, Wednesday, dozens of citizens, mostly children and women, were killed and injured when the occupation forces targeted a school sheltering displaced persons in the Al-Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.
Local sources confirmed that the occupation forces targeted the “Al-Sardi” boys’ preparatory school in the Al-Nuseirat camp, which was sheltering thousands of displaced persons, resulting in the death of at least 32 martyrs and the injury of more than 50 others.
An Israeli bombardment that targeted a home in the Al-Nuseirat camp also led to the death of 6 citizens and the injury of 20 others.
The sources stated that the bodies of the martyrs are being gradually transported to the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir Al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, following the Israeli bombardment that targeted the school.
They reported the arrival of many wounded, mostly children and women, after the occupation forces targeted a full floor in the school belonging to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), located in Camp 2 in Al-Nuseirat in the center of the Strip.
The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip said that the Israeli occupation forces committed a new massacre tonight by targeting the Al-Sardi school that was sheltering displaced persons in the Al-Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.
The director of the government media office in Gaza, Ismail Al-Thawabteh, said in a press conference that the number of martyrs in this massacre is expected to rise due to the large number of serious and critical injuries.
He added: “The occupation army just committed a horrific massacre by bombing several rooms sheltering dozens of displaced persons in the Al-Nuseirat boys’ preparatory school in the Camp 2 area in Al-Nuseirat in the central Gaza Strip.”
