FALCON POWERS – An infant, who was rescued from the womb of her mother, also deceased, has been martyred as a result of an Israeli airstrike that targeted their home in the southern Gaza Strip days ago.
Emergency caesarean section was performed by doctors to save Sabreen Al-Sakni after her mother, who was seven and a half months pregnant, sustained fatal injuries in the Saturday airstrike.
Initially, the infant was believed to be in a stable condition after being resuscitated at Rafah Hospital. However, the infant passed away yesterday, Thursday.
The infant was buried next to her mother, who was named after her. The husband, Shakri, and their three-year-old daughter, Malak, also perished in the airstrike.
