Gaza is a Red Line: “Ansar Allah” Threatens the United States and Israel with “Unexpected Arrangements”

Falcon powers – The Yemeni group “Ansar Allah” has threatened the United States and Israel with an unprecedented military escalation if the Israeli army continues its operations in the Gaza Strip.

The military spokesperson for “Ansar Allah,” Colonel Yahya Saree, stated during a military event, “We have begun implementing the fourth stage, and in the coming days, new details will be revealed regarding the ships that have violated the ban imposed by the armed forces on ships heading to Israeli ports through the Mediterranean Sea.” He added, “There will be significant operations, and the armed forces are equipped with substantial preparations for the fifth and sixth stages.”

He continued, “Gaza is a red line for us, and we will strike and target objectives that the enemy cannot imagine. In the fifth and sixth stages, if the enemy continues its aggression against Gaza, we will reach positions that the Americans cannot imagine,” stressing that the upcoming strategy is significant.

He pointed out that “in the general mobilization, there are very large numbers of the Yemeni people ready for battle, whether the Americans intervene on the ground or if the path is opened towards Palestine,” considering that “America has been humiliated in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, the Gulf of Aden, the Bab el-Mandeb, and the Indian Ocean.”

The Yemeni news agency “Saba,” affiliated with “Ansar Allah,” quoted a security source on Monday as saying that the US-British aggression aircraft had carried out an airstrike on the Hodeidah Governorate in Yemen, confirming that it targeted Hodeidah International Airport.

This comes after the US military announced the destruction of a drone launched by “Ansar Allah” as part of the group’s attacks in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, and the Indian Ocean, which it says “target ships associated with Israel or heading to it, as well as American and British ships, in support of Palestinian factions in the Gaza Strip.”

According to the US statement, “These measures are being taken to protect the freedom of navigation and make international waters safer and more secure for American ships, the alliance, and commercial vessels.”

Last Thursday, the leader of “Ansar Allah,” Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, announced his group’s intention to expand its attacks against ships associated with Israel or heading to it in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, and the Indian Ocean, coinciding with the Israeli military operation in the Palestinian city of Rafah. He revealed that the group has targeted 112 ships since last November.

“Ansar Allah” claimed responsibility last Thursday for targeting three ships associated with Israel in the Indian Ocean and the Gulf of Aden, hinting at escalating its attacks against ships associated with Israel, in addition to American and British ships, in support of Palestinian factions in the Gaza Strip.

On October 10th last year, “Ansar Allah” announced that it would support Palestinian factions in confronting the Israeli army in Gaza with missile and aerial attacks and “other military options” if the United States directly intervenes in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict in the region.

“Ansar Allah” has been in control of the majority of the central and northern Yemeni provinces, including the capital Sana’a, since September 2014. A Saudi-led Arab coalition launched military operations on March 26th, 2015, to support the Yemeni army in retaking those areas from the group’s control.
