Gaza Wakes Up to Massacres as the Occupation Continues Its War of Annihilation on Civilians

FALCON POWERS – Dozens of citizens were martyred and dozens more were injured, in addition to a number of missing persons, on Saturday, in an Israeli bombardment that targeted residential buildings in various neighborhoods in the city of Gaza.

The Government Media Office in Gaza, in a statement, said that “the Israeli occupation army has targeted since this morning 4 neighborhoods in the city of Gaza: Al-Shati refugee camp, Al-Tuffah, Al-Shuja’iyya and Al-Zaytoun (east)”.

It added that “38 martyrs and 50 injuries, some of them in critical condition, were taken to Al-Mu’ammal Hospital in the center of Gaza City as a result of the Israeli raids”. The office pointed out that 14 people are still missing under the rubble of the houses and buildings bombed by the Israeli army.

In the same context, the director of the “Kamal Adwan” hospital north of the Gaza Strip, Hussam Abu Safiya, announced on Saturday the rise in the number of children martyrs in the hospital due to malnutrition to 4 within one week.

Abu Safiya said in a press conference held north of the Gaza Strip: “We lost a child in the incubator department of the hospital during the last few hours due to malnutrition.”

He added: “This child is the fourth to be martyred in the hospital over the past week due to malnutrition.”

He added that the hospital also diagnosed, during the last two weeks, the injury of more than 250 children with signs of malnutrition, warning that the Gaza Strip “is facing a real health disaster that has started with children and may end with adults.”

He pointed to the premature births that occurred in the hospital recently, which were caused by malnutrition of the mothers.

He continued: “Despite the challenges and despite the targeting of the health teams and institutions by the occupation, we are still standing by our people, especially in light of the spread of infection and the epidemic, and the specter of famine and death that looms over the north of Gaza.”
