Gulf Citizens Granted 5-Year Schengen Visas on First Application

Falcon powers – Exclusive European sources have confirmed that the Schengen visa systems for citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries have been unified. This means that they will be granted a 5-year visa upon their first application. This development comes as both blocs, the GCC and the European Union, aim to strengthen their cooperative relationship to serve their respective interests.

Earlier, the Gulf Cooperation Council discussed with the European Union the exemption of GCC citizens from the Schengen visa requirement.

The Gulf Cooperation Council and the European Union enjoy a historical relationship, and both blocs aspire to bridge their differences on various issues and achieve common goals. They also seek to support and enhance stability and development in the region and the world, as well as develop all partnerships to address current challenges.
