Haaretz: Hezbollah 2 Was Shocking, and Hezbollah Succeeded in Collecting Accurate Information About Military Units and Targeting Them with Missiles

FALCON POWERS – The Hebrew newspaper Haaretz reported that Hezbollah’s missile barrage that resulted in the killing of two Israelis near the (Nafah) camp in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights was in retaliation for the assassination of Yasser Qarnabsh, who was an element in the protection of Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah. This was a clear message that the party is capable of harming the Hebrew state whenever it wishes.

The newspaper added that hours before the launch of the missiles, Hezbollah published a video clip that displayed its intelligence capabilities and threatened to strike several bases and gatherings of the forces in the Golan.

The Israeli newspaper went on to say that Hezbollah’s display on the map showed a long series of bases and gatherings of the forces. In the corner of the screen, the phrase “before the targeting” was written, which is a military term meaning a preparatory step for selecting targets before the attack.

The report stressed that this indicates that the air superiority that Israel has continued to enjoy over all the countries of the region is not a guarantee of protecting its airspace.

In addition to the above, the Hebrew newspaper confirmed that “this message becomes more severe when we realize that we are talking about several air sorties executed over a period, which proves that Hezbollah, which does not even have a single fighter plane, but has aerial capabilities that reach the depth of Israel, has collected intelligence information before the operation and later worked based on this intelligence information,” adding that “the strike on the strategic (Tal Shmayim) base at the (Golani) junction in the lower Galilee is one of the examples of this,” as it put it.

The newspaper pointed out that “the disturbing aspect in the clip released by (Hezbollah) is that it succeeds in collecting extremely up-to-date and real-time visual intelligence information about the deployment of units in the north and the situation in the various bases, where the video producers highlighted intelligence facilities, artillery radars, Iron Dome launch platforms, and other launching platforms and systems, and documented the combat units, including infantry, armored, and artillery batteries, deployed in the areas,” according to its statements.

The newspaper concluded by saying that “over the past nine months, Hezbollah has proven that it has the ability not only to film these bases from the air, but also to target them with rocket projectiles and kamikaze and suicide drones,” stressing that “this video targets the entire Arab homeland, as well as the Lebanese who oppose (Hezbollah),” according to its statements.

It is worth noting that Hezbollah published a new video two days ago on Tuesday, titled (The Hoopoe Episode 2), which shows footage of Israeli leadership bases and centers in the occupied Golan Heights, amid questions about the message it wants to convey by releasing this video.

The party explained that its planes succeeded in filming intelligence bases, headquarters, and camps in the Golan, while the official Israel considered that the scenes were captured two months ago.
