Hague Court Discusses Additional Emergency Measures Against Israel Over Two Days

Falcon powers – The International Court of Justice in The Hague is holding hearings on Thursday and Friday regarding additional emergency measures against Israel.

This comes following an urgent request filed by South Africa to issue cease-fire orders due to the Israeli military operation in Rafah, “to ensure Israel’s compliance with its obligations not to engage in genocide.”

Yesterday, it was announced that Egypt has declared its participation in the lawsuit, protesting against Israel’s intensified attacks on the Gaza Strip and the expulsion of Palestinians from their lands. Turkey also announced earlier this month its participation in the legal action, stating in their statement, “We will continue to support the Palestinian people under all circumstances.”
