FALCON POWERS – Two Israeli soldiers were killed, and 24 others were injured in the town of Harfish in the western Galilee, northern occupied Palestine, as a result of an explosion of a drone launched from Lebanon, according to Israeli reports.
Israeli media reported that two Israeli soldiers were killed and 24 others injured, with 5 in critical condition and 3 in serious condition, after being targeted by a drone and a missile from Lebanon.
According to Hebrew sources, a missile first fell on the site in Harfish, and after 6 minutes, two drones exploded upon the arrival of the rescue teams.
According to the Yisrael Hayom newspaper, the incident occurred at a soccer field in Harfish, and among the injured were also rescue workers who came to treat the victims of the initial bombardment, and they themselves were hit by a drone.
The Israeli army said in a statement: “A short while ago, launches were detected from Lebanese territory that fell in the Harfish area”, adding that “no sirens were sounded, and the incident is under investigation”.
The Israeli army radio said it is investigating the reason for not activating the warning sirens in the area, due to the “launches” towards Harfish, which is more than 3 kilometers from the border, and its residents were not evacuated.
Hezbollah said in a statement: “In support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in support of their valiant and honorable resistance, and in response to the Israeli enemy’s aggression and assassinations, especially last night in the town of Naqoura, the mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance launched an aerial attack with a swarm of attack drones on an emerging gathering south of the Kush settlement, targeting the positions and presence of the enemy’s officers and soldiers, directly hitting and causing casualties among them, both killed and wounded.”
