Harris Plans to “Cleanse” the White House of Biden Allies if She Wins

FALCON POWERS – Sources within the White House report that Kamala Harris plans to overhaul the White House staff if she wins the election, following a history of poor treatment from Biden’s team since the beginning of his presidency. While Harris supports many of President Joe Biden’s policies, she is expected to bring in her own supporters should she come out victorious.

Biden’s aides and allies have privately spoken poorly of the Vice President, her husband, and her staff over the past three years, often disregarding them during Biden’s presidency.

Harris and her husband, along with her sister Maya and husband Tony West, have compiled a list of Biden’s advisors and major donors who they believe have undermined the Vice President in front of reporters or fellow Democrats, according to two people familiar with the matter who spoke to Axios. In addition to these grievances, Harris has a dim view of some members of Biden’s team and wants her supporters in key positions, the sources said.

It is normal for there to be significant staff turnover with any new president, even when the incoming and outgoing presidents are from the same party.

However, many Biden officials were preparing to stay for a second term before the 81-year-old president unexpectedly announced his reelection bid in July, under pressure from Democratic leaders. Others in the Biden administration were seeking potential promotions, including some cabinet positions, but those plans have since changed.

Harris’s sudden rise has triggered frantic activity within the White House, with aides either searching for new jobs for the next year or trying to get close to Harris’s team in hopes of securing a position.

One White House official told Axios, “Staff members who haven’t given the Vice President’s team the time of day for three years are suddenly rushing to send emails and provide updates.”
