“I Won’t Be a Victim of the Media” – Former Israeli Prisoner Denies Being Beaten by “Al-Qassam”

FALCON POWERS – The former Israeli prisoner held by the Hamas movement, Noam Aargman, denied the claims made by the Israeli media that she was beaten by the Al-Qassam Brigades members.

In a post on her “Instagram story”, Aargman wrote: “I cannot ignore what the Israeli media has been doing to me over the past 24 hours, and how they have taken my statements out of context.”

She confirmed that “the Al-Qassam members did not beat me in captivity, nor did they cut my hair, but I was injured after the collapse of a wall due to an Israeli air force strike.” She stressed that “no one beat me in captivity, but I was injured all over my body after the airstrike.”

She added: “I am a victim of the October 7th operation and I cannot be a victim again of the Israeli media.” Aargman had previously stated in an interview in June that the Israeli army had bombed the house she was previously staying in, resulting in the deaths of two other prisoners, Itay Virski and Yossi Shraabi.

Aargman (26 years old) is considered one of the most famous faces among the hostages captured by Hamas on October 7th. Footage showed her being transported on a motorcycle while pleading for her life, while her friend Avner Or was made to walk. Her friend Avner Or remains among the detained hostages.

Aargman was rescued from a residential building in Gaza on June 8th, along with 3 other hostages, in an operation carried out by the Israeli special forces.
