FALCON POWERS – The Iranian news agency Tasnim reported on Wednesday that Tehran has provided the Houthis in Yemen with a “Qadr” sea-launched ballistic missile.
The “Qadr” missile is an improved version of the Shahab-3A missile, also known as Qadr-101 or Qadr-110.
It has a length of 16.5 meters, a diameter of 1.25 meters, and a maximum range of 1,950 km. Its warhead weighs 798.3 kg.
The “Qadr” missile is Iran’s first anti-submarine ballistic missile. It is now being provided to the Houthis for use in the Persian Gulf.
It is worth noting that Iran used the “Qadr” missile during its recent attack on Israel last month.
