Iranian Defense Minister Denies Any Israeli Fighter Jets Entering Country’s Airspace

FALCON POWERS – Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Nasir Zadeh confirmed on Wednesday that “the production of defense systems, including missiles, has faced no problems or interruptions.”

In a statement made during a government meeting, Nasir Zadeh emphasized that “the mere act of the Zionist entity firing a shot towards our territory is considered an aggression against a distinguished and powerful state, which is unforgivable and will be met with a firm response.” He clarified that “if a state’s sovereignty is violated, it has the right to defend itself,” according to the Iranian Tasnim news agency.

The Iranian defense minister denied that any Israeli fighter jets had entered the country’s airspace, asserting that according to the United Nations Charter, any country whose airspace is violated has the right to respond to such violations. Earlier reports indicated that “new satellite images revealed that the attack carried out by Israel on Iran last Saturday struck a number of sensitive military sites, including a major missile production facility.”

U.S. media noted in a report that “satellite images taken in March and yesterday show changes at the Shahroud Space Center in Semnan Province, which analysts say was likely used for producing medium-range ballistic missiles.”

According to the media, “the Israeli attack on Iran appears to have targeted a base run by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, where ballistic missiles and launch platforms are manufactured as part of Iran’s space program.” They pointed out that the damage to the space base raises new questions about the Israeli attack, especially given that Iran has asserted that Israel struck the provinces of Ilam, Khuzestan, and Tehran, but not the rural Semnan Province where the base is located.

The Israeli army had announced early Saturday morning that 100 of its fighter jets launched an attack on Iran, executing “precise strikes on Iranian military targets.”

Meanwhile, the commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Major General Hossein Salami, stated on Monday that the Israeli strike on Iranian territory demonstrates Tel Aviv’s desperation and will have “unimaginable bitter consequences” for Israel.
