Iraq: The International Coalition Forces Committed an Atrocious Crime by Targeting Security Sites

FALCON POWERS – Yahya Rasoul, the spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Iraqi Armed Forces, stated in a press release on Wednesday that the International Coalition Forces committed an “atrocious crime and blatant assault” after targeting sites belonging to the security agencies in the northern governorate of Babylon.

The spokesman said that the attacks were “serious and far-reaching transgressions that could significantly undermine all the efforts, mechanisms, and contexts of the joint security work to combat ISIS in Iraq and Syria.”

The United States announced on Tuesday that it had carried out a strike in Iraq, which US officials described as a defensive action amid heightened tensions in the region.
