Falcon powers – Israel is planning to present a plan to the Americans to expand the military operation in Rafah.
Despite the lack of full consensus within the expanded government, the overwhelming majority of ministers believe that the operation in Rafah should be expanded, according to Israeli Channel 12.
US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan will arrive in Israel on Sunday, and the direction Israel is heading is clear – it intends to present a plan to the Americans to expand the operation in the southern city.
Israel plans to present operational plans that include a gradual expansion of the operation. This will include a reliable evacuation plan for the residents of Rafah, 800,000 of whom have already been evacuated.
During the advisor’s visit, senior Israeli officers will have to convince the Americans that their reservations will be taken into account.
