Israeli Airstrikes Minutes After Hezbollah Announces Responsibility for Targeting Netanyahu’s Home

FALCON POWERS – Three Israeli airstrikes targeted the southern suburbs of Beirut on Tuesday, just minutes after Hezbollah’s media relations official, Mohammed Afif, concluded a press conference attended by dozens of media outlets.

Afif wrapped up his press conference in the Ghobeiri area hastily after the Israeli army issued an evacuation warning for two buildings in the same area. The Lebanese National News Agency reported that “hostile airstrikes resumed in the Ghobeiri area, reaching three strikes so far,” without providing further details.

Shortly before, the Israeli army had warned residents of buildings in the Ghobeiri area to evacuate “immediately.”

During the conference, Hezbollah officially announced its responsibility for targeting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s home in Caesarea last Saturday.

“Hezbollah announces its full, complete, and exclusive responsibility for the Caesarea operation and for targeting the war criminal and leader of Zionist fascism, Netanyahu,” said Mohammed Afif during the press conference in the southern suburbs of Beirut. He added, “The eyes of the Islamic resistance fighters see and their ears hear. If our hands did not reach you last time, between us and you are the days, the nights, and the battlefield.” Afif also announced that the Al-Qard Al-Hassan Foundation, which had its headquarters in southern Lebanon, eastern Lebanon, and the southern suburbs of Beirut targeted by Israeli strikes on Sunday night, was prepared for this attack and would fulfill its “obligations” to depositors.

“I say on behalf of the management of the Al-Qard Al-Hassan Foundation that it has prepared for such aggression and has taken all necessary precautions and will do everything required to meet its obligations toward depositors and beneficiaries,” he explained.

In related news, six Israelis were reported injured, with serious and moderate wounds, on Tuesday due to rockets fired from Lebanon towards northern Israel.

Israeli Channel 13 reported: “Three were seriously injured and three moderately injured in the area of Kibbutz Nahal Oz in the Upper Galilee following the bombardment from Lebanon.”

It added that “approximately 10 launches from Lebanon towards the Nahal Oz area were detected,” confirming “verified casualties from the falls.” It noted that “sirens were also heard in Nahariya and western Galilee due to about 30 launches from Lebanon.”

The Israeli website 0404 reported that Ziv Medical Center reported two individuals in moderate condition who arrived at the hospital after the rocket fire on Nahal Oz, mentioning that firefighting crews were working to extinguish a fire that broke out in the area.
