Israeli Army: “Ibrahim Aqil” and the Entire Leadership of Hezbollah’s Radwan Force Eliminated

FALCON POWERS – Israeli army spokesperson Daniel Hagari stated that “Ibrahim Aqil, head of the operations system in Hezbollah, along with a series of Radwan leadership, has been eliminated.”

He added, “Aqil and the leaders of the Radwan Force are the ones who planned an offensive operation to occupy the Galilee.”

Hagari indicated that “Aqil was the actual leader of the Radwan Force and planned operations against Israel and its citizens.”

He said, “We are committed to working to return the residents of northern Israel to their homes.”

He also noted that there has been no change in the instructions for the home front and urged citizens to remain vigilant.

Axios reported that an Israeli official confirmed the complete elimination of the entire high command of Hezbollah’s Radwan Force in the airstrike on the southern suburbs of Beirut, estimating their number to be around 20 individuals.

Additionally, the Israeli army announced the execution of an attack in the southern suburbs of Beirut in a brief statement released on Friday evening, just hours after a decision was made to re-impose restrictions on wide areas in the Galilee and the occupied Golan Heights due to fears of escalation following heavy attacks on southern Lebanon, following a security assessment.

Israeli reports, including those from the Israeli army radio and channels 12 and 13, indicated that the target of the Israeli strike in the southern suburbs was “the head of special operations” in Hezbollah, Ibrahim Aqil.

In response, Hezbollah targeted numerous Israeli sites and towns, including Safed, as well as military headquarters, launching around 150 rocket shells towards the Galilee and the Golan, according to the Israeli army.
