Israeli Attack on Egyptian Soldier, Victim of Clashes in Rafah

Falcon powers – Israeli media outlets have launched a scathing attack on the Egyptian soldier Abdullah Ramadan, who was killed during an exchange of fire with the Israeli army at the Rafah crossing the other day.

The Israeli media claimed that the Egyptian soldier was inciting against Israel on his personal Facebook page.

The right-wing Israeli news site “bhol” reported that following the burial of the Egyptian soldier in his hometown in the Egyptian governorate of Fayoum, south of the Egyptian capital, posts he had written supporting Gaza and inciting against Israel began to appear, including: “Silence is an expression of impotence… Silence is disgraceful.”

The Hebrew website added: “It now appears that the Egyptian soldier who opened fire had posted posts sympathizing with Gaza in early February, and in one of his latest posts he wrote: ‘O God, may complete calm prevail in Gaza. The heart is sad and the eye is weeping, Gaza is close and the world is far from it, silent, blind and unable to act manly… Silence is an expression of weakness.'”
