FALCON POWERS – The Hebrew Channel 14 reported that Israeli occupation army officers who fought in the Gaza Strip sent a message to the Chief of Staff “Herzi Halevi”, in which they confirmed that the situation in Gaza is still far from victory.
The officers said in the message: “We are surprised by the repeated statements from high-ranking military ranks that victory is near, and we who have come from the field know well that the situation is still far from victory.”
The message indicated: “The resistance still has cross-border capabilities and marches, and a massive infrastructure of tunnels.”
Hebrew media said that a sense of frustration prevails in the “General Staff” of the occupation due to the problems facing the Israeli army in Gaza, due to the lack of a clear political goal of the war.
According to the Hebrew newspaper “Yedioth Ahronoth”, the “Occupation Cabinet” did not set a long-term goal, which led to the frustration of the generals, which prompted them to say “there are no clear decisions, and we are fighting without a goal and stuck in the current situation.”
The Armored Corps Brigade acknowledged that they are facing “Hamas” which operates with an organized military logic and uses the tactics of small teams and strategies to maintain its combat power, according to the newspaper.
It said that the occupation army “had to activate reserve brigades in Gaza; due to the increasing tensions in the north and the rapid shortage of forces in the south”.
